Sous Vid Shin of Beef in a Redcurrant & Rosemary Jus
Sous vide is a
low-temperature cooking method where food is vacuum-sealed and slowly cooked in
a water bath. French for "under vacuum," sous-vide uses heated water
to gently cook food so that it stays juicy, flavourful, and nutritious.
THIS IS A COOKED PRODUCT AND MUST BE REHEATED THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO
Just simply reheat and use the
juices to make the Jus and add your accompaniments.
This product is already cooked and
needs warming through.
oven to 180°C/gas mark 5. Remove from the cooking bag and place in an oven-proof dish. Cover the dish with kitchen foil and pierce several times. Place in the oven for 20 minutes.
Allow to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Keep the product in the cooking bag and immerse it in a pan of hot water. Gently simmer for 15-20mins. Remove from the water and allow to stand for 2- 3 minutes before removing from the cooking bag and serving.
