Delivery Information

GVMG operates an extensive personal local home delivery service extending to Monmouthshire, Herefordshire, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen & Newport, and surrounding areas in our own refrigerated vans. We also deliver Nationwide via courier. 

Local Home deliveries are NOT new to us. We have been well-established in-home deliveries for over 7 years. Some years ago, we recognised that householders were keen to buy quality meat and products from skilled quality purveyors and that is why we offer a free local home delivery service on any order of £25. 

Local Delivery Postcode Areas: (timings may change to suit demand)

We deliver to Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, and Herefordshire, Tuesday-Friday, daytime and evening to suit your personal circumstances. We try our best to fit in as many orders as possible, but our deliveries fill up extremely fast. You can order a home delivery on our website, and at checkout please select your postcode and your preferred day for delivery OR if you prefer to collect, please make a note of this in the comments when ordering at checkout. Alternatively, you can place your order for collection or delivery over the phone on 01981 240341, Monday-Friday 7 am- 4 pm.

What happens when I place an order for my local delivery area?

At checkout, you will be prompted to select local delivery and your postcode, and your preferred delivery day and time.

       1. When you place an order, initially you will receive an automated email confirming your order and payment.

       2. Afterwards, you will receive a second email confirming the day, date, and approximate time of delivery. We will try our utmost to fulfil your required delivery day however if you are not going to be home, please could you let us know where to leave your order and if you require your order to be placed in a coolbox. We can leave your order in a secure place, an alternative delivery address e.g. neighbour or relative.

National Delivery 

We offer a courier delivery service with APC couriers which is 100% safe using a temperature-controlled cooling system that ensures that your meat order will remain fresh for up to 72 hours. 

Delivery is free when you spend £100.00 or more. If under £100, a fee of £10 is charged for postage and packaging for next-day delivery before midday. (Please refer to the delivery chart below)

We deliver to all parts of the mainland UK ONLY with a targeted 24-48 hour turnaround time.

What happens when I place an order to be delivered Nationwide?

At checkout, you will be prompted to select national delivery.

       1. When you place an order, initially you will receive an automated email confirming your order and payment.

       2. Afterwards, you will receive a second email confirming the day, date, and approximate time of delivery. 

On the day of dispatch, your order will be butchered by hand using our 3 stage packaging system.

·        1. Each meat product is vacuum packed to maintain the shelf life and freshness of food products.

·         2. Placed in the temperature-controlled insulated box which is exceptionally strong and designed to hold quantities of chilled fresh meat.

·         3. A hydrated Sorba Freeze Ice Sheet is placed within the insulated box. These specially designed sheets are pre-cooled before being enveloped inside your order. This is to ensure your meat arrives chilled (not frozen). They help keep your meat fresh for up to 72 hours.

·         4. Your order is sent on overnight delivery within 24 hours - Our boxes are designed to stay cool for 72 hours, we aim to deliver your meat in 24 hours on a next day by midday courier service.

·         5. You will be contacted via email on the day of dispatch to advise of your delivery.

Please Note:

Unfortunately, orders that are placed on a Thursday - Sunday will not begin processing until Monday when these orders will be shipped overnight for a Tuesday delivery. This is to ensure freshness and quality with all our products for you.
